Tomorrow (1 November) is the deadline to sign up for the Economic Mission led by Minister of Economic Affairs Henk Kamp and StartupDelta special envoy Constantijn van Oranje to The Consumer Electronics Show (CES)  & Silicon Valley. The objective of the mission is to strengthen the position of Dutch high tech companies, startups and R&D institutions in the U.S. and in Silicon Valley in particular.
Participation of the CES mission is open to all tech companies. The mission to Silicon Valley is open to companies and knowledge institutions with a focus on three specific sectors: Integrated photonics, energy transition and smart & green mobility.

Mission to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 5-8 January
CES is the largest technology exhibition in the world and is held annualy in the Las Vegas convention Center. All the technology giants will be represented at this fair. For the first time the Netherlands will have its own “Startup Pavillion” at CES consisting of thirty ambitious Dutch start-ups looking to expand internationally.

Mission to Silicon Valley 9-11 January
Silicon Valley is the leading high-tech industry hub worldwide. Many companies use the region as their principal innovation hub: Google, Facebook, Apple, Intel, Adobe, Yahoo!, NetFlix, Tesla, Electronic eBay, Cisco, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, etc. The proximity to top-ranking universities (Stanford and Berkeley) and governmental institutions which provide essential R&D facilities, give it its unrivaled position as the top innovation hub in the world. The mission to  Silicon Valley,  will focus on three specific sectors in which the Netherlands has developed cutting edge technologies: Integrated photonics, energy transition and smart & green mobility, but there will also be a general progamme for startups and mission participants. Participation of Silicon Valley mission is open to companies from the High Tech & Systems & Materials (HTSM) sector and Universities and knowledge institutions.

Costs
·      Participation costs for the mission to the US are  €950.- for every company (max 2 participants). Additional participants (above 2) cost an extra €475.- each.
·      In order to stimulate the presence of female participants, a discount of 50% is applicable for this particular group of entrepreneurs.
Included: participation in the collective program components and network sessions, including mention of your company profile in the mission booklet, local group transportation costs and local support from the organization.
Not included: Travel fees, lodging fees and additional costs (i.e. interpreting costs). A travel agency ATPI has been asked to put together a travel package.
