Utrecht-based RV sharing platform Goboony raised a 350.000 euro seed round, ten months after launching.
Founders Mark de Vos and Foppe Mijnlieff will use the money in the next year and a half to expand its business to Germany, France, Italy and England.
The investment comes from a strategic partner and three informal investors. Among them is Ronald Zwartkruis, owner of ParkYourCar, a parking space sharing startup. Which makes sense, of course.
“Within five years we want to do business worldwide”, said De Vos. When the expansion will be successful, the founders want to explicitly have a presence in New Zealand as well. The founders met there, in “an eminent country for RV-trips”.
