Startup Envoy Constantijn van Oranje and Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Lilianne Ploumen formalized the partnership between StartupDelta and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

The partnership focuses on linking Dutch startups to the rest of the world. The Embassy network with over 140 representations worldwide offers a wealth of network opportunities and knowhow for startups looking to expand abroad. StartupDelta and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs co-organise missions to startups events such as WebSummit, Slush, SouthbySouthWest and to innovation hubs such as Paris, Silicon Valley and Shanghai.

A great example:

In January the Netherlands Embassy in Washington, the Consulate General in San Francisco, the Ministery of Economic Affairs, the Dutch Enterprise Agency and StartupDelta join forces for a high tech economic mission to CES, the world's largest technology trade show, and Silicon Valley. The mission, which includes a Holland Startup Pavilion at CES where 30 Dutch tech startups will showcase their product or service, will be led by Minister of Economic Affairs Henk Kamp and Startup Envoy Constantijn van Oranje. The Holland Startup Pavilion at CES will be the first Startup Pavilion of StartupDelta and the Netherlands ever. It is located in Eureka Park, the CES flagship startup destination in Las Vegas with more than 600 startups.
