The “How To Get There Summit”, organized by the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE), aims to fuel innovation by connecting startups with enterprises and by sharing experience and best practise. The summit has attracted an amazing line up of speakers. From Harold Goddijn (TomTom), inventor and creator Daan Roosegaarde, Minister Kamp, Neelie Kroes to Jan Kees de Jager (CFO of KPN) and many more!

Stephen Gold, Vice President IBM Watson, will be on stage during the “How To Get There Summit” on November 19th in Rotterdam to share how IBM Watson is building ecosystems with startups and tech companies by making machine learning and cognitive technology available for everyone. Leveraging the Research & Development of a corporate like IBM, startups can offer innovative solution to their clients never seen before while startups are innovating in ways that corporates find difficult to do. Startups from varies industries are already disrupting their industry with AI powered apps and this trend will continue as more and more machine learning and cognitive API’s are made available.

Visitors of the Summit can learn, explore and connect in many breakout sessions covering topics like “Lean Startup”, “Disruptive Innovation”, “Corporate Venturing” and more. The How To Get There Summit will also give the opportunity to make actual new connection between start-ups and corporates. On the central innovation market more than 380 speeddates between start-up founders and innovation director of corporations are facilitated. Among the 30 participating corporates are Boskalis, Eneco, Port of Rotterdam, Nuon, Reaal, IBM Watson, ING, EY, APM Terminals and KPN. Click here for an overview of the speed dates.
