‘Dynamic planning’ app Calendar42 received funding from the Mainport Innovation Fund (MIF), the company announced today without financial details.

Calendatr42 wants to further expand with the funds and create real time planning options for KLM and Schiphol.

Calendar42, a spin-off startup from university TU Delft, helps businesses and individuals to shape their appointments on the go. Or as they call it, ‘short term planning solutions’. Travel information is provided to help the person get to his meeting, Google Now-style.

MIF is a fund that was founded by Schiphol, KLM, TU Delft, NS and Port of Amsterdam and focuses on innovation in Logistics, Transport and Innovation. MIF invests in return for a substantial minority share.

Calendar42 announced an investment of over 1 million euro back in July. In February of this year, they also announced the take-over of carpool startup Toogethr.
