The incubator for social startups Enviu from Rotterdam got 2.4 million dollar grant from the Bill & Milanda Gates Foundation to work on a sanitation solutions in India.

Funding

Fintech company Five Degrees has received 10 million euro in growth funding from new shareholder Karmijn and existing shareholders Velocity Capital and 5Square.

VR studio Pillow’s Willow from Eindhoven got ‘several tons’ in funding from an angel investor and accelerator Lumo Labs.

Solar panel leasing startup Solease received its first funding from a VC. The company got an 600.000 euro investment from the American VC CF Capital Management to spend on sales and marketing. The startup already got 8 million euro in grants and loans.
