B. Amsterdam, the accelerator, opens a third location. The former Mexx office will become B.3
Biggest startup ecosystem in Europe
The new office houses 12.000 m2 and brings B. Amsterdam in total campus of 40.000 m2 spread over three buildings. This makes B. Amsterdam the biggest start-up ecosystem in Europe.
Like the other locations, B.3 focuses on accelerating the pace of innovation and growth of startups and growth. What makes B.3 unique is that it will become the physical center for corporate innovators in the Netherlands. This grants organisations like PWC and IBM access to new talent.
‘The power of the B. concept lies in its scale, tight focus on further innovation and boundless ambition. The concept focuses on expanding the relevant network, both within the B. ecosystem and beyond, to the greatest extent possible. In the end, it’s all about the impact’ says B. co-founder Guus Meulendijks.
B. Amsterdam definitely changed the startup industry in Amsterdam. Instead of locations in the city center, they’ve picked places near the A4 and ring, which makes the buildings more accessible for people from outside of Amsterdam. B. even has a restaurant that actually drives locals into the startup magic. We like what B. Amsterdam is doing. B. will open up in New York this autumn, so it actually accelerates its own growth pretty well. Keep up the good work!
