Amsterdam-based startup Autheos received an undisclosed amount of funding from Dutch VC Holland Venture and US investor Guy Bradley. The investment will be used to expand the team for its syndication network for brand and product videos.
Autheos, launched in 2012, allows clients to deliver their videos to e-commerce platforms worldwide, in the appropriate format. These of course are shown as ads.
According to the press release, the startup claims a 70 percent marketshare in the Benelux. It has clients like well known Dutch e-commerce platforms Bol.com, Wehkamp and ECI.
Autheos funding
"We work in a constant feedback and product iteration loop to continuously improve the client experience, and this additional financing will allow us to both speed that process and broaden our market share internationally" said CEO Pyke van Dieren.
Niels van Aalten, partner at Holland Venture: "Autheos solves a tangible problem for global brands and has a very scalable proposition."
This August, Christina Caljé will be added to the team. She is now the current COO of Peerby.
