Startup in Residence, the incubator of the city of Amsterdam – challenges startups to join the incubator to solve 20 new social challenges and make the city a better place.

The city is your playground

Startups can now apply for the 6 month program, in which the city can be their playground and its inhabitants the launching customer. The innovative collaboration invites Dutch and international startups to device their smart solutions. The third edition will run from December 2017 until May 2018. Applications are open until October 8 at midnight.

Why Startup in Residence?

Besides an intensive training programme and support of coaches and mentors, startups will be provided with working space, access to the municipality’s network and the possibility to test their product or service in the city. That’s an incredible kickstart opportunity! Besides 20 predefined cases, there’s also one wildcard round providing startups with the chance to use their own creativity and solve a problem they are facing.
