Almost € 250 million extra venture capital for startups and scale-ups

During StartupFest the Netherlands Investment Agency (NIA) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) announced an co-investment programme of  €100 million for ambitious Dutch startups.

EIF and NIA each commit € 50 million to this jointly developed programme. The combined commitments of € 100 million are expected to catalyse at least another € 100 million of private equity financing from Dutch-oriented fund managers.

Also six SEED-funds of the SEED-capital scheme worth of €49,5 million were announced by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, including a scheme to scale up eHealth.
