In the run-up to the Get in the Ring Netherlands final, 11 new startups have qualified for a spot. Also, Pieter Zwart, CEO of Dutch e-commerce darling Coolblue, will be in the jury.
With Jellow, Blue Battery, Hello Trip, Maggy, Openlab, StartMonday, Shake-on, Sinu-cure, Tom Kabinet, Value Engineers and WeParq, the total number of startups attending the final is now 36. Eventually 100 companies will compete, so you can still apply (deadline November 9).
The 6 finalists that are selected during the day will face off in the ring, pitch to a jury of ‘Champion investors’ in five brief rounds. Pieter Zwart from Coolblue was recently added to the jury. He’s flanked by former CEO of KPN, BT and Alcatel-Lucent Ben Verwaayen, former Minister of Finance Jan Kees de Jager and Corinne Heijn, founder of UnitedSuccess.
